It is easy to maintain records of ancestors in a software program such
as Family Origins or Personal Ancestral File. Once the names, dates
and marriages are entered the software can create family group sheets,
pedigree charts and even gedcom files. You can send your friend gedcom
files (to add to their genealogy software) or upload it to the web.
