Private Research Files Now Online

KentuckyPioneers.com is in the process of collecting private files from various sources. Many regional libraries have a folder collection; also local historical and genealogical societies. This usually consists of donated materials, inquiry letters, articles, private printings of family histories, etc. It represents the combined resources of many researchers. Consider your own research efforts....collecting information, documents, etc. and placing it into folders for each ancestral name. After a few years, you have your own private collection which could become invaluable to others.Georgia author and genealogists of over 40 years, Jeannette Holland Austin, has donated her private folder collections to the following websites:

What is unique here is that Ms. Austin's collection includes her own research files, dating from about 1964 to present; photographs, letters, etc.To stay informed of latest additions, subscribe to Pioneer News
